Beauflor® is returning to London Build Expo this November as it continues to develop relationships in the commercial flooring sector.
Beauflor® is exhibiting at London Build Expo, 20th-21st November, Olympia London, returning to one of the UK’s largest construction events as it continues to develop relationships and opportunity in the commercial flooring market.
This year, Beauflor will show its product ranges designed to fulfil the needs of housing projects including Blacktex, Smartex and Quintex, as well as innovations in product and manufacturing that have led to a bio-based sheet vinyl floor and digital printing that allows bespoke designs and patterns.
With a textile back that allows Blacktex, Smartex and Quintex to be quickly installed without glue, these floors make refurbishing within properties fast and easy. Installed without glue in rooms up to 36m2, so that it can simply be lifted and replaced with new. This significantly reduces replacement time over floors that need to be glued down, which are often difficult to uplift without damaging subfloors. A damaged subfloor may also then need remedial treatment before it’s ready to receive a new floor covering.
Not only are they fast to install, but they can also be installed directly over old floors, like ceramic and thermoplastic tiles or timber. This makes Blacktex, Smartex and Quintex ideal replacements to prevent the costly process of uplifting these old floors. In a range of modern and classic wood and stone tile looks with Natural Look texture, all of these floors help to provide tenants with a comfortable and warm finish that feels homely and inviting. They also feature Beauflor’s Premium Coating for better resistance to stains and marks, making them easier to clean for tenants.
Beauflor is also one of the only cushion vinyl manufacturers to use in-house digital print to offer a bespoke design service. The service, Create, can be used to adapt existing natural designs, add branding or create a unique design. Thanks to the manufacturing flexibility of Beauflor’s digital printing, It is available from just a single roll of vinyl flooring. The power of Create will be really apparent at this year’s London Build Expo as Beauflor will feature a custom printed Create wall especially for the show.
The Belgian manufacturer will also be focusing in on its approach to sustainability, which sees a pathway of sustainable raw materials and production practices, reduced consumption and better end-of-life solutions. Recent developments as a result of this pathway include Twilight, a bio-based and circular PVC floor with a 40% lower CO2e footprint than conventional heterogeneous cushion vinyl1.
Chris Roberts, regional sales director, Beauflor, says: “Having had a successful event last year, we’re really looking forward to this year’s London Build Expo. We’ll be showing our new cushion vinyl ranges and highlighting how we’re responding to the need to develop more sustainable flooring products. When it comes to delivering a cost-effective flooring specification that can still meet design, performance and practical requirements, there are few flooring options as versatile as multi-layer cushion vinyl the show provides as an opportunity to tell these benefits to the construction industry as we create new connections.” Find Beauflor on Stand E20, London Build Expo, 20th-21st November, Olympia London.
